Joe Rood Memorial Scholarship in Physics

Third- or fourth-year students majoring in Physics, Chemistry, Geography, or other physical sciences. Must have completed Physics 1000 or Physics 1050, and Physics 2000. First preference will be given to Physics majors. Must have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in Physics (minimum fall/spring GPA 3.50) and the greatest potential for research in the physical sciences. Nominated by the Department of Physics. Payable upon confirmation of full-time enrolment in classes at the UofL in the Fall and Spring semesters immediately following the granting of the award.
