Public Health Internship/Practicum Travel Award

Elligibility: Bachelor of Health Sciences and Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation students registered in Public Health 4550, Addictions and Mental Health Counselling 3050 or 4050, Indigenous Health 4350, and Therapeutic Recreation 4550.
Must have a confirmed in-person practicum. Priority will be given to students with an international or out of the province practicum placement.

Criteria: Selected on the basis of academic good standing, distance of daily travel, and relocation costs, as measured by the Faculty of Health Sciences. Students may receive this award once.

Application Deadlines are: October 1 (for Fall term); February 1 (for Winter term); June 1 (for Summer term).

Payment upon confirmation of enrolment in PUBH 4550, AMHC 3050, AMHC 4050, INHL 4350 or TREC 4350 at the University of Lethbridge in the Fall, Winter, or Summer semesters.
