French for the Future Scholarship
Two awards, one for French First Language, one for French Second Language.
Students must be continuing full time in an undergraduate degree program. Recipient is determined by French for the Future organization (https://www.french-future.org/programs/essay-contest/)
Upon notification of successful recipient, payment will occur in Fall and/or Spring upon confirmation of:
• French First Language recipient must be full time enrolled with a minimum of 9.0 credits of French classes within the academic year
• French Second Language must be full time enrolled with a minimum of 6.0 credits of French classes within the academic year.
Application Required. Students must participate in the French for the Future National Essay Contest and choose the $2,000 French Language Centre of the University of Lethbridge scholarship option.
Winners and finalists in each category will be selected by a panel of judges. Students who win scholarships but are not eligible to attend university in the same academic year will have their scholarship held in reserve up to one year after their high school graduation.
