December 6 Award

Students continuing in any undergraduate degree program who have at least second-year standing and have both interest and involvement in women’s issues. Must have demonstrated academic achievement (minimum fall/spring GPA 3.00) and financial need. Applicants must submit a write-up detailing their volunteer or paid work that has benefitted women, and include a list of courses taken related to women’s issues. Payable upon confirmation of full-time enrolment in classes at the UofL in the Fall and Spring semesters immediately following the granting of the award.

This award was established in memory of the fourteen women who were murdered at Ecole Polytechnique, Montreal, December 6, 1989.
