Stephen Mitchell Scholarship in Mathematics

Continuing full-time third or fourth year undergraduate or graduate students in a Bachelor or Master of Science program with a major in Mathematics, or PhD students in Theoretical and Computational Science with concentration in pure Mathematics. Applicants will demonstrate outstanding academic achievement (minimum fall/spring GPA 3.50) and a passion for algebra, number theory or analysis. Applications are available through the Department of Mathematics, and will include a one page statement on a topic stated on the application form. Applications should be submitted to the Department of Mathematics. Selection is by committee.
