Dorothy Gooder Prize

Students graduating from full-time studies in the Faculty of Education who have a special interest and aptitude in the teaching of special needs children. Preference will be given to candidates interested in working with students with mental handicaps. Students must show an interest, demonstrated through course work, in Special Education. Must have demonstrated academic achievement (minimum fall/spring GPA 3.) and experience with children with special needs during Professional Semester III. Nominated by the Faculty of Education. Payable upon confirmation of graduation.
