Immersion Language Training Award For Russian History

Full-time graduating student majoring in History OR General Major in the Humanities or Social Sciences with one stream in History. A minimum of one completed course in Russian or Soviet History is required. Student must have academic achievement and confirmed registration/acceptance in an immersion language training program in preparation for Graduate level studies to begin immediately after completion. Application available in the Department of History and must include academic transcripts, 250 word essay on career plans related to graduate studies in Russian History AND a brief description of language immersion program to be taken including length of program and budget. Please submit completed application to Department of History by the deadline of May 1st. The History Department’s Student Awards Committee will evaluate all applications.
