Western Communities Foundation

Established in 2001, Western Communities Foundation is the charitable arm of Western Financial Group, supporting communities from coast to coast. Serving nearly 200 communities across Canada, the Foundation reflects a deep commitment to giving back in the places where employees, customers and partners live, work and play, helping build and maintain safe places where communities can thrive.

Giving back is part of everything we do at Western. Through initiatives like the annual National Walk for Safe Places, Community Infrastructure Grants, Student Bursaries and a newly launched Emergency Support Fund providing timely support to charities facing urgent needs, the Foundation continues to make a meaningful impact by strengthening communities, fostering inclusion, and supporting those who need it most.
