In Memory of Linda Erickson

Linda Erickson was recognized by Economic Developers Alberta in 1997 as the Economic Developer of the Year in our province. She received the inaugural Gerry Gabinet Mentorship Award at EDA’s 2023 annual Awards of Excellence Dinner recognizing the crucial role she played in developing others within the profession. Linda began her career as an Economic Development Officer for the County of Warner (1993-2005), served as an elected official on the Village of Coutts council, worked for the Government of Alberta as Regional Economic Development Specialist (2005-2022) as well as a Senior Business Officer with Prairies Economic Development Canada (2022-2023). Linda passed away on March 11, 2024.
