Ben Heppner
In 2008, internationally renowned opera tenor and U of L honorary degree recipient Ben Heppner performed a concert to raise funds for U of L music students. The proceeds established this endowment, which the University named in his honour.
Heppner is known internationally as one of the pre-eminent singers of his generation and is the recipient of three Juno Awards, two Grammy Awards and is recognized as an Officer of the Order of Canada.
