As Alberta’s largest benefits carrier, Alberta Blue Cross® provides health and dental benefits to meet the needs of over 1.7 million Albertans. We offer benefit plans for individuals and families, seniors, and large and small employers.

Impact

Increased access to education has proven to influence health outcomes. In 1998, to celebrate our 50th anniversary, Alberta Blue Cross established a $1 million scholarship fund to assist young Albertans pursuing their dreams of post-secondary education.

Supporting 65 scholarships, each year, our scholarships range from $750 to $1,500, and are awarded to full-time students on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.
